Choose Database
Find a database by name,
for example: JSTOR, CINAHL,
Academic Search Premier or EBSCO.

Find articles and books within your subject
area
Search according to your area of study by
selecting the quick set appropriate for your
discipline. This option searches most of the library's resources: online
catalog and databases simultaneously. Formerly known as "Power
Search".
Find a journal by title
Have a citation or looking for a particular journal?
Search
by journal title to see if USF owns a print copy or can
provide online access to a particular journal.
Help finding an article from off-campus
Use this guide if you
having problems searching from off campus.
You may be asked to log in with your 14 digit barcode number
from the back of your student ID card.
Photocopying
A photocopier is located on the 2nd floor of the library
across from the main circulation desk. You will need to have
your student ID in order to make copies. The charge for copies
is 3 cents per page and is deducted from the balance on your
student print account or can you can choose to use Aux Points.
Scanning
Scanners are located on the 1st floor of the library near the
print journal section. Scanned articles can be printed for 5
cents per page (deducted from the balance on your student print
account or using Aux points) or emailed. Scanners are also available in the help
desk area if you anticipate that you will need assistance
scanning.
Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary loan service is provided to help library users
access articles and books not included in Vann Library’s
collection. This service is provided to all
USF faculty, staff, and students of the University in
support of research and other required assignments.
