How to access a specific database
from the Vann Library Homepage:

These instructions will allow you access any of the resources which used to be displayed in the left column of the library's website in the past from either ON or OFF campus.
From the library's homepage:  http://www.sf.edu/library
  1. Click on the FIND ARTICLES TAB.
  1. From the Find Articles page, CLICK on the SEARCH FOR DATABASE BY NAME link under the "Choose Database" heading. This will allow you to search for a USF database by name.

If you do not know which database to use, CLICK on the SEARCH ACCORDING TO YOUR AREA OF STUDY link under the "Find articles and books within your subject area" heading on the Find Articles page. This will provide a set of the most commonly used databases to search according to discipline.

NOTE: If you are OFF-CAMPUS you will be prompted to enter your 14-digit barcode number from the back of your USF OneCard in order to go any further in this process.

  1. Either CLICK on the letter that corresponds to the first letter in the title of the database
    you are looking for
    or
    TYPE
    the name of the database you are looking for in the TITLE BOX.


     
  2. Hit the GO BUTTON.
  1. CLICK on the DATABASE NAME to access the database.
