Computers in the Library
The Lee and Jim Vann Library houses computers for student,
staff and faculty use. These computers are maintained by Campus
Computing and require a USF user account.
USF Acceptable Use Policy applies
to all computers/user in the Vann Library. There are 6 stand-up
quick reference stations on each floor of the library which
allow users to use the library catalog without logging in. Drink
in covered containers is allowed in the library, but should not
be kept on or near the computers at any time.
The bank of 16 computers at the south end of the second
floor, near the main circulation desk, are loaded with classware/courseware
to be used throughout the semester. Priority will be given to
students who need to use these specific programs on these
computers only.
Wireless laptops are available for checkout to students at the main
circulation desk on the second floor. A valid USF OneCard and
library account in good standing will be required for checkout. (see
laptop policy for complete policy information)
If you experience troubles with any of the computers in the
library, please see the helpdesk technician or ask at the circulation desk for assistance.
