Contemporary Craft Exhibition Opens December 1 at University of Saint Francis

Indiana: The School of Creative Arts at the University
of Saint Francis has announced the opening of the
Contemporary Craft Exhibition, Fort Wayne’s best holiday
art sale, on Saturday, December 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Weatherhead Gallery in the Rolland Center off of
Leesburg Road. The exhibit will run through Sunday,
January 20, 2008.
For the seventh year, the School of
Creative Arts will present this exhibit and sale of
crafts in a variety of media such as fiber, ceramics,
wood, metal, glass, and stone by more than 70
professional artists from across the United States. Most
of the pieces exhibited will be affordable, serving as a
great source for holiday shopping. There is no charge
for admission.
Gallery hours are Monday though
Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
and Sundays, 1 to 5 p.m. The gallery will be closed for
the Christmas holidays from December 22
