Student Film Festival Presented

April 3, 2008, Fort Wayne, Indiana:
The School of Creative Arts at the University of Saint
Francis will host a Student Film Festival on Sunday,
April 13 at 7 p.m. at Cinema Center Downtown.
Categories for the festival include
live action, animation and technical. Entries will
include character designs, walk cycles for animation,
title sequences for films, the animation exercise of the
bouncing ball and experimental processes, documentary
film, music video, and live-action narrative film.
Approximately 45 films have been
submitted, including Soar, a 3D computer
animation film about a dragon that doesn’t feel like he
belongs; Coping, a touching live-action story
about dealing with loss; and A Sticky Situation,
a 2D animated film where two pieces of chewing gum go
head-to-head in a battle to see who’s the bigger “man.”
The Student Film Festival is
sponsored by Student Activities and the USF Film Club.
