Stained Glass Classes Offered at
the University of Saint Francis
January 30, 2008, Fort Wayne,
Indiana: The School of Creative Arts at the University
of Saint Francis is offering a workshop entitled
Introduction to Stained Glass and Intermediate Stained
Glass Techniques beginning on Sunday, February 24.
There will be five sessions:
February 24, March 2, March 9, March 16, and March 23.
The classes will be held in Rolland Art Center, room 011
from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
The classes will be instructed by
Rhonda Freeman. Freeman has worked in glass for over 30
years and has expertise in hot glass, blown glass,
leaded glass, foiled glass, and mosaic. She has studied
with Randy Wardell from Canada, Gil Reynolds from Oregon
and Vicki Payne from Michigan. She has also worked with
Waterford Glass Company in Waterford, Ireland. Rhonda
owns her own studio/shop where she offers classes and
retail sales.
The cost of the program is $145,
which includes supplies and instruction. All tools and
glass will be provided for in-class use. Each student is
expected to bring a container for materials, towels and
wear appropriate clothing (no open-toed shoes).
