Mission & Vision
Residence Life & Housing at St. Francis College seeks to foster and promote a healthy and safe living environment to ensure the overall development and education of all students. It is an environment that will celebrate diversity, foster respect, enforce policy to promote safety and participate in a wide variety of experience and activities.
Your home away from home is a place where you can study, socialize and just generally be yourself 24/7. Living in a residence hall is a great way to meet people from New York City and beyond. Off-campus housing is located at 55 Clark Street, about a five minute walk to the College. All single, double and triple rooms are newly renovated and fully furnished with private bathrooms, high-speed internet, TV with DVD player and a refrigerator. Brand new communal kitchens, lounges, a pool table, public computers, Wifi throughout and a state-of the-art fitness center make a great living environment for all.
Brooklyn Heights — Your Extended Campus
The residence hall is located in the heart of Brooklyn Heights. Named as one of America's most beautiful neighborhoods by Travel + Leisure magazine, you can discover a vibrant and safe area that includes shopping and a selection of various restaurants. The Brooklyn Promenade is just a short walk away, where you can take in spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. If you're looking for more action, Brooklyn Bridge Park offers a variety of events including free movies, athletic events, and a walking or running pathway along the piers overlooking the East River. If you like sports and concerts, venues like the Barclays Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Prospect Park Bandshell are just a short train ride away or take the subway one stop to Manhattan to gain all of the social and cultural opportunites while exploring a dynamic city.
