Part of the Frank and Mary Macchiarola Academic Center, the Maroney Forum for Arts, Culture & Education is a beautiful 90-seat theater for plays, musical performances, workshops and lectures. The theater is equipped with an HDTV projector to play high-definition movies and videos created by students in the nearby HDTV Production Studio.
The theater has excellent acoustics, a catwalk to help adjust lighting, a control room, green room and a Sympodium that allows professors to include multimedia in their lectures.
In the short time the Maroney Forum has been open, it has hosted numerous cultural events including classical music concerts, lectures by famous writers from the Walt Whitman Writers Series and a number of student plays and performances.
