Every spring, members of our SFC community come together to celebrate the great cultural diversity of SFC. The day is filled with colorful cuisine and entertainment that includes song, dance, poetry and “Who am I” presentations from both faculty and staff. Click here for photos.
Throughout the school year, our Student Government Association will partner up with Athletics and Student Activities to sponsor a wide variety of Free Food, pre-game parties, and give-a-ways. At the conclusion of the spring semester, student leaders come together to celebrate the work and accomplishments of our 40 plus student organizations. Who can’t resist free hot chocolate, candy canes and selfies with Santa? Each fall, at the conclusion of classes, right before finals begin, the SGA sponsors a stress-free day for its peers. Always full of laughs and smiles, click here for photos.
During the summer of 2014, members of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity created a fundraising event aimed at proceeds for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Over a stretch of 50 consecutive hours, members of the fraternity symbolically see-sawed in front of the campus, as a gesture of continuous fighting and remembrance of children battling cancer. The group would promote healthy living, share survivor stories and eventually fundraise over $10,000 in their first See-Saw for a Chance fundraiser. Click here for photos.
