Terrier Tuesday

At the start of each year, SFC’s newest class is welcomed to the college with a party known as Terrier Tuesday. At the start of Fall 2014, this class enjoyed a first-ever field day at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Events and activities included roller-skating, basketball, football, obstacle courses and tug-a-war. Community Day

Every spring, members of our SFC community come together to celebrate the great cultural diversity of SFC. The day is filled with colorful cuisine and entertainment that includes song, dance, poetry and “Who am I” presentations from both faculty and staff. Click here for photos.

Tailgate Parties

Throughout the school year, our Student Government Association will partner up with Athletics and Student Activities to sponsor a wide variety of Free Food, pre-game parties, and give-a-ways. Additional attractions include face paint, hair spray and student only cheering sections. Click here for photos.

Student Awards Dinner

At the conclusion of the spring semester, student leaders come together to celebrate the work and accomplishments of our 40 plus student organizations.  Highlights include Emerging Student Leader, Club of the Year, Event of the Year, and other Staff and Administrative presentations. Holiday Party With Rocky

Who can’t resist free hot chocolate, candy canes and selfies with Santa? Each fall, at the conclusion of classes, right before finals begin, the SGA sponsors a stress-free day for its peers. Always full of laughs and smiles, click here for photos.

See-Saw for a Chance

During the summer of 2014, members of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity created a fundraising event aimed at proceeds for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Over a stretch of 50 consecutive hours, members of the fraternity symbolically see-sawed in front of the campus, as a gesture of continuous fighting and remembrance of children battling cancer. The group would promote healthy living, share survivor stories and eventually fundraise over $10,000 in their first See-Saw for a Chance fundraiser. Click here for photos.
