Spend 1 or 2 weeks at a beachfront logde learning about marine science, coastal and island geology, and Bahamian culture and earn 3 hours of credit toward the general education requirement, "Society and Environment" or "Science". High school sophomores, juniors and seniors are invited to spend the day at USF with a plethora of state-of-the-art microscopes and high-tech imaging equipment. Fusing biology with chemistry and information technology students will use a scanning electron microscope and polarized light microscope and various imaging techniques.
