Are the graduate programs full time or part time?
With the exception of the PA program, students can attend full time (9 credit hours or more per semester) or part time (less than 9 credit hours per semester).

What types of Financial Aid are available for graduate students?
The University of Saint Francis offers limited financial support through federal loans, graduate assistantships, graduate scholarships, and the alumni second degree discount. More information regarding these financial opportunities can be found here.
When do classes meet?
Most of our programs are designed for working adults with classes offered online, evenings, and weekends. Our MSN and MS in Environmental Science programs offer classes in a hybrid format, which includes a combination of both online and onsite coursework.
Can I transfer credits from previous graduate level coursework into a USF graduate program?
Students may request 1-15 credit hours (determined by the department chair/program director) of previous coursework be transferred into a current USF graduate program. However, students need to be aware that:
- No credit will be given for courses in which the grade was below a “B”.
- Credit may not be given for courses that are more than five (5) years old.
- The student may be requested to present catalog descriptions of the graduate courses for which transfer credit is requested.
- Transfer grades will not be included in the cumulative Grade Point Average.
- Approval of all transfer credit is the prerogative of the department chair/program director and the Director of the Graduate School.
Do I need to take the GRE to be accepted into USF’s graduate school?

What housing options are available to Graduate Students?
Assistance with living arrangements is available to graduate students through the Office of Residential Life and Housing. Housing options may include on-campus housing, apartments, or other local living opportunities.
