Mission Moments is a new addition highlighting an individual action by a member of the USF Community which exemplifies our values.
Dick Robbins
Dick Robbins, Security Supervisor for the university, is being recognized for going out of his way to help a student who was in a car accident on campus. After the scene had been cleared and the other driver left, Dick stayed with the student for more than twenty minutes while she was waiting for her father. Eventually he was called away but while there he spent time calming her down and talked with her to take her mind off the situation.
Adam Noyes
Adam Noyes is being commended for going the extra mile to provide assistance. Some students from the Crown Point campus were driving to Fort Wayne to attend orientation and got themselves hopelessly lost, ending up on the wrong side of Fort Wayne in New Haven. The students called into the Help Desk, and Adam kindly pulled up turn by turn directions and stayed on the phone with them guiding them safely to campus.
