Chris Hughes, associate director of career development, advises students and alumni on career and internship opportunities. He also actively cultivates relationships with employers from the public, nonprofit and private sectors.
Prior to joining SFC in September 2015, Hughes served as a career/internship advisor for the School of Public Affairs (SPA) at American University in Washington, D.C. He has also served as program manager for the Campaign for African American Achievement at the Urban League of Pittsburgh and counselor for the Penn State University Educational Talent Search Program, a federal TRIO program.
Hughes earned a bachelor’s in political science from Penn State University and a master’s in public affairs from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
