Jim Baker joins SFC International as an International Student Advisor / DSO. He has worked with international populations as an ESL instructor and language consultant in New Jersey and closely advised international students and scholars during his time as a visas and compliance manager at Hult International Business School in Cambridge, MA. Having obtained a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Nebraska in 2021, Jim is excited to return to the east coast to work with St. Francis College’s international students and to help with the College’s internationalization efforts. Jim is a native of Flushing, Queens and enjoys exploring the many diverse neighborhoods of New York City with his family in search of delicious food and drink from around the world.
