Richard R. Grasso, St. Francis College’s Executive Director of Human Resources, oversees the College’s Office of Human Resources and its broad range of employee-centered activities, including all HR polices and benefit programs, the 403(b) retirement plan, compensation programs, and the adjunct faculty collective bargaining agreement. Grasso also provides day-to-day guidance to management and employees about the College’s human resources policies, practices and legal compliance issues, while also overseeing employee recruitment, the new hire on-boarding process and employee training initiatives in conjunction with the President’s office.
Grasso joined St. Francis College in 2010 as the Employee and Labor Relations Specialist and in 2013 was promoted to the position of Director of Employee and Labor Relations. He assumed his current role in 2014.
Prior to joining St. Francis, Grasso held a variety of senior management positions for the Clear Channel Outdoor corporation where he was employed for 12 years. Before that, he served as an administrator and union representative for the International Brotherhood Teamsters.
Grasso holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations from the New York Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree from Hunter College.
