The Callahan Center Art Gallery features works from local, regional and international artists in a variety of artistic styles.

Previous Exhibitions

We Are the World features works by 23 international artists, curated by Lise Curry and Francine Rogers. The exhibition spans disparate geographies, generations, genders and regions bringing together paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs and installations in celebration of St. Francis College’s internationalism and cultural diversity. A photography project featuring portraits of students taken by their peers, accompanies the exhibition.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall…, the inaugural exhibit of artwork from The Lise Curry Art Collection. The exhibit features contemporary portraiture, figure drawing and sculpture by 31 established and emerging artists, including Beatrice Coron, Lola Flash, and Rebecca Morgan.

Art in the Lab Exhibition includes work made at and inspired by Art in the Lab events. Founded in 2015 by Alison Dell, Ph.D., Associate Professor Biology at St. Francis College, and Irina Ellison, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Chair of Natural Sciences at Mercy College, Art in the Lab promotes crosstalk between art and science through free public workshops where participants engage in authentic laboratory experiences and create art inspired by interaction with scientific collections.
