Accessibility Statement

St. Francis College (St. Francis) is committed to facilitating the accessibility and usability of its website, www.sfc.edu (the Website) to persons with disabilities. To accomplish this, St. Francis has adopted a website accessibility policy to support its commitment to the accessibility of its Website, which allows persons with disabilities to have a full and equal opportunity to benefit from the products, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations offered by St. Francis through its Website. To that end, St. Francis takes steps so that individuals with disabilities are not excluded, denied services, segregated, or otherwise treated differently because of their disability, where such steps are readily achievable.

To continue to improve the accessibility of its Website, St. Francis is committed to implementing, over time, the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA) as its web accessibility standard. Our plan is to have our Website tested on a periodic basis with assistive technology such as screen readers and screen magnifiers. We have engaged an experienced accessibility consultant to assess the Website's accessibility to persons with disabilities and to provide St. Francis with specific recommendations and feedback to facilitate further accessibility and conformance with WCAG 2.0 standards to the Website.

Please do not hesitate to contact St. Francis with your accessibility questions or concerns at webmaster@sfc.edu or 718.489.5371. Please be aware that our efforts to provide an accessible Website are ongoing. If you do encounter an accessibility issue, please be sure to specify the web page at issue in your email or communication to us and we will take reasonable efforts to address your concern. St. Francis is committed to making its Website accessible for everyone.
