Closing Thoughts on Franciscan Month
It is hard to believe we have already reached the end of this Franciscan Month of October. And what an incredible All Good Things Reflection Series it has been for the Month – the feedback has been most positive!
We cannot thank everyone who contributed to this series enough. We are also grateful to those who subscribed and anyone who commented on the wonderful depth and breadth of the reflections.
Special thanks go to Mia Gabrielle Garcia and Timothy Nagy of our Office. Without their outstanding coordination, the Series would not have been possible. As a result of their efforts, thousands of more people now know October is Franciscan Month!
The Series wonderfully complimented events that occurred during Franciscan Month. These included a Peace Run, Transitus, Rosary Procession, Cellphone Freedom Hour, and Interfaith Appreciation Breakfast.
The Series and events greatly assisted in moving forward the dream of October being globally designated as Franciscan Month. Our vision includes national events in 2025, with international recognition in 2026 for commemorating the 800th anniversary of Francis' going to Paradise!
Looking forward to continue walking the Franciscan journey with you. May you do so in God's Peace and Love!
Deus Meus et Omnia,
St. Francis College - Office of Mission, Ministry and Interfaith Dialogue
