SFC Art Gallery

Mission

The exhibitions program seeks to explore art media inclusive of myriad experiences by artists from New York, the United States and beyond. Our goal is to offer the SFC community access to engage with and discuss interdisciplinary topics through contemporary art practice.

The SFC Art Gallery is located on the 5th floor of the St. Francis College campus at 179 Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn.

SFC Art Gallery Presents "Rhapsody and Redolence"

Highlighting the work of artist Carol Scott and writer Caitlin Smith Gilson '03, “Rhapsody and Redolence” is on view and open to the public through January 10, 2025.

Previous Exhibitions

REFLECTIVE URBANISMS: Mapping New York's Chinatown features architectural renderings of buildings and portraits of community members of the iconic Manhattan neighborhood by the artist Cheryl Wing-Zi Wong.

Home Is... features artists representing a variety of styles and media exploring the many aspects of the concept of home.

Dare, Denounce and Draw
features the work of Pedro X. Molina, an internationally renowned political cartoonist.

Callahan Center Art Gallery on Remsen Street

Prior to SFC moving to 179 Livingston Street, the Callahan Center Art Gallery featured works by local, regional and international artists in a variety of artistic styles.
