Jerry Hyppolite '03

Since 2022, Jerry Hyppolite has been the Chief of Staff for Partnership with Children. New York City’s leading Non-for-Profit in mental health and youth development. Since 1908, Partnership with Children (PWC) has worked to ensure that all New York City children have the support they need to thrive. Today, PWC provides expert mental health services and support for children’s emotional well-being, serving some 30,000 students annually in schools across the five boroughs.

Jerry previously served 7+ years as the Director of Facilities Management & Program Compliance at the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, the city’s primary funding agency that invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish. Before that, Jerry spent 15 years with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s Bureau of Child Care as the Supervisor of Licensing, ensuring safe and quality childcare programs across NYC.

Jerry is a Brooklyn-born professional, creative, and community builder who holds a BA in Psychology & Criminal Justice from St. Francis College and attended the John Jay Criminal Justice Program. He is a Certified Mental Health First Aid Trainer in Adult/ Youth/ Law Enforcement/ Rural modules. He serves as a master trainer of Mental Health First Aid for the National Council for Behavioral Health. He is currently working towards his M.A. in Mental Health Counseling. Jerry has had the privilege to speak across the country, teaching and speaking on topics from Mental Health to Motivational Empowerment.

A second-generation Haitian American, he resides in Westchester, NY. Jerry has lived in Montreal, QC, and is fluent in French.
