Fashion and Retail Management, Minor

Program overview

The Fashion and Retail Management Minor provides students with an introduction to the business, marketing, and operational aspects of the fashion and retail industries. Designed to complement a wide range of majors, the program combines creative industry knowledge with core business principles to help students understand how fashion products move from concept to consumer.

Students explore topics such as fashion marketing, retail management, consumer behavior, merchandising, and brand strategy. The curriculum emphasizes the relationship between creativity, market trends, and business decision-making within the fast-paced global fashion industry. Through interdisciplinary coursework, students gain insights into how retail organizations develop product strategies, manage supply chains, and engage customers.

The Fashion and Retail Management Minor prepares students to pursue careers in fashion, retail, and related industries while developing transferable skills in marketing, business strategy, and customer engagement.
