Human Rights Lecture Series Presents a Screening of "Abundance" and Q&A with Aidan Reilly, Farmlink Project Co-Founder
This event will feature a screening of the award-winning short documentary Abundance: The Farmlink Story, followed by a Q&A with Farmlink Project co-founder and recent college graduate Aidan Reilly.
The Farmlink Project was founded by a group of college students during the pandemic to fight food waste and insecurity and has evolved into a major national movement. This event will be a great opportunity for students to recognize their power as young people navigating a world in perpetual crisis.
More about Abundance: The Farmlink Story:
During the largest food crisis in a century, a group of college students steps up to help those facing hunger. Their small local effort inspires hope nationally and motivates 600+ students to drop everything to feed millions of families. Within months, the project scales larger than anyone could have imagined and the students find themselves on the front lines of fighting hunger. As food-bank lines grow across the country and college finals approach, do the students have what it takes to create a long-term solution?
