A Rainbow Bridge of Light: Voices From the Universe

St. Francis College proudly featured members of Professor Mitch Levenberg’s Senior Citizen writing class in, A Rainbow Bridge of Light: Voices From the Universe, a reading of poetry and prose on Monday, April 15.

The reading is an annual celebration of the voices and visions of our senior community and features a wide variety of work from novice and experienced writers. Levenberg, an author and English Professor at St. Francis, also read some of his own work.

The writing class is just one of a number of programs and events St. Francis College offers, free of charge, to all members of the senior citizen community. Other activities include: swimming, tai chi, yoga, first run movies and numerous lectures and panel discussions held and hosted by St. Francis College professors.

St. Francis College thanks the New York City Council and New York State Legislature for their support of the For Seniors program, which is funded under contract with the New York City Department for the Aging.
