With contributions that reflect faith, love, grief and joy, the new issue of Assisi; An Online Journal of Arts & Letters could not be contained to the size of just one issue. Instead, Editor Wendy Galgan, an English Professor at St. Francis College made the new publication, Volume 2, Issues 2/3 - Fall 2011/Spring 2012, a double-sized collection of work. “I am very proud of this, our first double issue, which is full of rich and evocative works,” said Dr. Galgan. “We have a remarkable variety of contributors, from teenagers to college students to retirees. For some, this is their first publication. Others are very well known.

The issue contains more than 120 works and runs more than 150 pages. Contributors hail from 28 states, as well as Canada, Istanbul, England, Italy and Australia.

Assisi offers an eclectic mix of essays (both academic and personal), short fiction and poetry, along with photography and art work, in an online journal which is published twice-yearly.
