Men's Soccer Dynasty Rolls On
St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers Win Back to Back NEC Championships
Fourth Conference Championship in Five Years
It was an all-Brooklyn battle on Sunday afternoon at Pier 5 of Brooklyn Bridge Park with the NEC Men's Soccer title at stake. The two neighborhood rivals typically play right down to the wire, but this day belonged to St. Francis Brooklyn as the Terriers took control from the start en-route to a dominant 5-0 victory over LIU Brooklyn. It marked the second straight title for the Red & Blue and fourth in the last five years. There is little doubt that the Terriers have created a dynasty in the NEC.
The Terriers move on to play against Fordham in The Bronx for the first round of the NCAA College Cup, Thursday, November 16. The winner takes on the 11 seed Virginia.
