SFC Ranked Most Affordable by College Database

The College Database Ranks SFC for Low Tuition/High Starting Salaries

With tuition under $20,000 and the estimated starting salary for graduates at more than $45,000, St. Francis College has been ranked by The College Database as the best private college in New York State for financial return on investment and in the top five overall.

The College Database selected St. Francis because of its placement on a new 20-40 metric, which highlights colleges that set annual tuition below $20,000 and produce graduates who earn more than $40,000 a year. The group, which released its list for the first time this year, based its finding on publically available information from government and private organizations. “With the cost of college a concern for many families, it's important for students to find a school that produces successful, well-paid graduates. Therefore, it's equally important to recognize the colleges and universities that offer both quality and affordable post-secondary options,” writes Katrina Silberstein, Managing Director of Communication & Partnerships for The College Database.

“St. Francis College has always prided itself on providing a quality, private college education at a reasonable tuition,” said President Brendan J. Dugan ’68. “It is rewarding for everyone; from the professors to the administrators to the students, to be recognized for our continued success in achieving that goal.”

Over the past several years, St. Francis College has seen consistently higher enrollment, with applications and incoming freshman classes continuing to rise. At the same time, the College is focused on maintaining a low faculty to student ratio insuring its commitment to personal attention for each student. (Learn More About St. Francis College)
