The Summer Science Academy, now in its 13th year, encourages high school juniors and seniors with a strong interest in the sciences to continue to follow their passion into college and beyond. The Academy is a three week, full day science experience that immerses students in hands on activities and educational trips in the field to promote the benefits of pursuing academic studies in various science related fields.

“We are grateful to Staples for their support of the Summer Science Academy which helps promote the importance of science with the next generation of students,” said Chair of the St. Francis Department of Biology & Health Promotion Kathleen A. Nolan. “This intensive three week program has had an enormous impact on a number of students. We’re glad Staples is helping to keep the program alive.”
