Want to improve your fitness, eat more nutritiously, understand your cardiovascular risks or simply wake up happy?

Join the St. Francis College community for its Annual Health Expo on April 24th. More than fifty health and social service organizations will provide information and resources on a range of issues related to health and well-being, including dental health, hypertension, women's health, skin care, and audiology.

Visitors will enjoy fun, hands-on interaction with health and wellness pros. Experts will lead exercise and cooking demonstrations, educational workshops and perform basic health screenings. A DJ will provide musical entertainment. Attendees can munch on healthy snacks, play games, win prizes and collect giveaways.

"We hope everyone has a good time at the Health Expo, and we also want visitors to get better equipped to make well-informed choices about their personal health," said Starr L. Eaddy Ph.D., St. Francis College Associate Professor of Biology & Health Promotion. "We're aiming to do our part to close the healthcare disparities that exist among New Yorkers. Every person who walks through our doors should leave feeling more educated about important health conditions and empowered to proactively pursue the right preventative and therapeutic measures to lead their healthiest lives."

The St. Francis College Health Expo is sponsored the St. Francis College Department of Biology & Health Promotion. It is free and open to the public. Click here to register.
