St. Francis Leo Club Volunteer for More Than 400 Children at Halloween Party

The newly formed St. Francis College Leo Club volunteered at the 69th Precinct Community Council’s Annual Children’s Halloween Party on October 29, helping to treat more than 400 children and their parents to food, games, a costume parade and the Halloween staple, candy.

The St. Francis students who volunteered are: Shawna Bobbitt, David Bryant, Pleshette Carr, Rhea Galsim, Ayiscla Johnson, Ashley Jones, Tatiana Malvoisin, Tatum Murray, Jennifer Paciullo, Jessica Rios, Jasmine Roberts, Jonathan Rodriguez, Shakeyia Thomas and Leo Club advisor and administrator in the College’s Registrar’s Office, Dion C. Jones.

The Leo Club was found to help bridge the connection between St. Francis College and the Brooklyn Heights Community.

St. Francis College, founded in 1859 by the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn, is located in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. Since its founding, the College has pursued its Franciscan mission to provide an affordable, high-quality education to students from New York City’s five boroughs and beyond.
