Dear SFC Students, Faculty and Staff Members:

Welcome to the 2023-2024 academic year at St. Francis College. For those of you who are new to the Terrier family, I am delighted that you have chosen to join this special institution. For those who are returning, I hope you are excited to be back on campus; we certainly are. Founded in 1859 by the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn, St. Francis College has long provided a stellar academic experience to students, one that is grounded in Franciscan values and intellectual tradition.

As with all beginnings, the start of a school year is full of promise, ushering in opportunities for learning, enriching experiences and great achievements. Students, you have a breadth of resources available here to help you succeed, and I encourage you to take full advantage of your unfettered access to them. Engage with your professors, utilize our boutique student-services model and forge meaningful relationships with your peers.

I look forward to meeting all of you during our Terrier Tuesday celebration later today. Let’s all join in with the entire SFC community for food, games, music and a student club fair as you experience the camaraderie and spirit that define St. Francis College.
