Experiential Learning Program
Through St. Francis College's Experiential Learning Program, you can bundle your experience to complete your degree with:
- Transfer credits from other institutions - up to 68 credits
- Work & Life Experience (corporate or industry training, licenses or certificates, community and volunteer service)
- Military Training
- Credits for Foreign Language
Additionally, St. Francis College accepts credits from faculty-approved exams offered through the following testing providers:
Advanced Placement Course Equivalencies - a program that offers college level courses at high schools followed by an examination.
Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) CAPE Exams - provides certification of the academic, vocational, and technical achievement of students in the Commonwealth countries who, having completed a minimum of five years of secondary education, wish to further their studies.
College Level Examination Program (CLEP) - general examinations in composition and literature, history and social sciences, and science and mathematics.
DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST) - a series of 37 examinations in subject areas such as social sciences, math, applied technology, business, physical sciences, and humanities.
International Baccalaureate (IB) - examinations administered at higher level or subsidiary level in English, French, or Spanish.
Military Training Course Equivalencies - all branches of the military can receive credits for training.
New York University Foreign Language Proficiency (NYUFLP) - offers more than 50 different language-testing examinations to evaluate knowledge of a foreign language.

Available fully online as well as on-campus, SFC's associate programs can be completed full-time or part-time and lead to further studies at the bachelor's level.

Become a college graduate faster than you thought possible! The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies is a flexible, online degree completion program that provides credit for your previous studies as well as work and life experience.
Our online Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies gives you the option of designing, with faculty advisement, your own individualized undergraduate degree based on your interests and professional goals. You'll fulfill the general education requirement in traditional majors plus have the possibility of combining a further two minor areas of study from a range of fields.
