Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering
Prepare for a Rewarding Career in the Natural Sciences
The College offers a traditional 4-year B.S. program and, in addition, a concentration in Information Technology.
The faculty of the Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering Department are dedicated to providing you with a solid foundation in the chemical and physical sciences. We will prepare you to think critically and to solve problems. You can use this strong base of knowledge and skills to better understand the world of chemistry around you and to advance to graduate and professional schools.
Close faculty-student mentoring coupled with participation in undergraduate research has led to many recent successes among our graduates. These include M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, entry into the pharmaceutical industry, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and more.
