EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

Below is a list of semester-long exchange programs with our partners. You pay tuition directly to SFC, so there is no additional program fees on these programs. Your financial aid can still be applied, and these programs are also eligible for SFC Reciprocal Exchange Study Abroad Scholarships.

MICEFA - Paris, France

Live and Study in the City of Lights!

Take classes in Paris with French and international students and expand your cultural understanding. You’ll be able to fulfill credits towards your major, minor, or college requirements by choosing between 16 Parisian universities, each specializing in a unique academic field. You can also immerse yourself in French language and culture by taking courses at the MICEFA center in central Paris. Immersion is not just in the classroom, though: you will go on trips to celebrated sites around France as well as local spots in Paris to enrich your cultural experience and understanding.

Eligibility:

  • Approval from home university
  • 2.5 GPA
  • Some proficiency in French is encouraged but not required. It is recommended that zero-level French students arrive for the Fall semester
  • Open to all fields of study

Leonard de Vinci (LDV) - Paris, France

Study Business in the Heart of France's Cultural Heritage!

Jaume I University – Castelló, Spain

Castelló de la Plana (or simply Castelló or in Spanish, Castellón) is a city on the Mediterranean coast with beautiful sandy beaches all along its coastline and orange groves. It is a small but modern provincial capital with everything you might need. Its moderate size (180,000 inhabitants) makes it the perfect place to live, with the best of a big city (cultural events, shops, nightlife, facilities, and local amenities) and a small town (Spanish traditions, relaxed lifestyle, integration with locals and nature.

It is a very safe city, and much cheaper than larger cities such as Madrid, Valencia or Barcelona.

Around 300 international students choose to study on exchange at the Universitat Jaume I every year, primarily for seven reasons that set us apart from other universities in Spain:

  • Some proficiency in Spanish is encouraged but not required. You can find courses in Spanish as well as English in the following fields: Business/Economics/Finances, Tourism, English Studies Chemistry, Industrial Technology Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering and Design, as well as Mechanical Engineering (only Semester 1), Technical Architecture (only Semester 2), and Audiovisual Communication (only Semester 2)).

Yaşar University - Izmir, Turkey

Established in 2001, Yaşar University is located in Izmir, on the West coast of Turkey. The University offers high-caliber teaching and strong collaboration with industry and commerce, providing students with the competencies necessary to operate in an international context. Student exchanges and cooperation benefit incoming students and academics in terms of academic, cultural, and socio-economic awareness, technical “know-how,” and experience sharing. Student placement/internships are also offered; we like to provide our incoming students access to our networks with different companies and industries.

EBS University - Hesse, Germany

Each year EBS Business School welcomes more than 350 exchange students from our more than 250 partner universities around the world on campus. Founded in 1971, EBS is the oldest private business school with university status in Germany. It is located in the heart of the Rhine-Main region, in geographical terms, at the centre of Europe. This region is a hub of economic development with a population of more than 4.7 million, 320,000 companies, including 2,200 high-tech production plants, sales and services organizations. EBS Business School is within easy reach of Wiesbaden, the capital of the state of Hesse, and Frankfurt, the financial metropolis of continental Europe with more than 430 national and international financial institutions, including the European Central Bank.

If you wish to broaden your educational experience by spending one or two semesters studying abroad, then we can accommodate you at EBS. We have a rich curriculum and a wide range of courses which are appropriate for either a one semester or two semester stay. In addition, we offer to all students from our partner universities a German language course free of tuition charges two weeks before the official start of the semester.

Below is a list of partners that are not exchange programs, so you pay tuition directly to them. Your financial aid can still be applied, but these programs aren’t eligible for SFC Reciprocal Exchange Study Abroad Scholarships.

The University of Waikato - Hamilton, New Zealand

New Zealand is a small yet mighty country located in the South Pacific; its closest neighbors include Australia and Fiji. The University of Waikato is located in Hamilton, New Zealand’s fourth largest city and the perfect launching point for exploring.   • Approximately $7000 (subject to change and exchange rate fluctuation)
  • Housing: approximately $700-900 per month (student housing; subject to change and exchange rate fluctuation )

Hellenic American University - Athens, Greece
