Common Ground is a discussion-based event in which we bring students together to discuss very controversial topics. Students will leave the space understanding everyone’s perspective and point of view, respecting everyone’s perspectives and point of view, and ultimately finding a “common ground” that everyone can agree on. Students will learn why it is important to try to understand everyone’s outlook and demonstrate how a collaboration of ideas often leads to the best and least biased ideas.
