Join SFC Interim President Timothy Cecere for a conversation with Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer, as the latter reflects on her life, how she embarked on her journey into public service and the valuable lessons she has learned along the way.
The President’s Lecture Series welcomes leaders from business, politics and the community for a conversation with SFC's president. The discussions delve into the personal motivations of those who craft professional lives defined by service and provide guidance to young people considering similar paths. Previous guests include Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, former Brooklyn Borough President and current New York City Mayor Eric Adams, and former Congressman Peter King.
