Women's Leadership Network Panel
To celebrate Women’s History Month, the Women's Leadership Network (WLN) is sponsoring a special network panel featuring women's basketball and soccer head coaches Linda Cimino and Justine Lombardi, along with their team captains.
This event is open to all in the SFC family and is a perfect opportunity to hear from two outstanding coaches whose teams have had enormous success this past season.
The panel will focus on a wide range of topics, including, the elements of organizational leadership skills and how they are transferrable to the job market and in the professional arena. Cheryl B. Walker-Robertson, chief protocol officer at Protocol International, will serve as moderator for this special event. Cheryl is currently facilitating our first-ever Women’s Leadership Network Mentorship Program, a program that involves our female board of trustees and cabinet members as mentors and a number of female student-leaders as mentees. The goal of the program is to empower our young female student-leaders to pursue their dreams and acquire skill sets needed for their future life and career through the work with their wonderful mentors.
The Women's Leadership Network (WLN) serves as the bridge-builder between the academic experience and the professional world. WLN works strategically with the faculty and staff of SFC to develop the career readiness of students and young alumnae to help identify internships and job opportunities. This network's mission is to inspire and empower our students and reconnect with our alumnae while bringing career resources to the women of SFC through professional, educational, and social events.
