Recent alumni of St. Francis College can pursue additional SFC degrees more cost-effectively than ever, thanks to the College's new Graditude Scholarship.

Open to anyone who holds a St. Francis College degree from the past six years– in any discipline – and meets other requirements, the Graditude Scholarship aims to remove financial barriers that may discourage some alumni from enriching their educations and thus improving career prospects.

Participants can apply their Graditude Scholarships towards a second undergraduate degree, or a master's degree in accounting, psychology, or management.

"Our alumni are an absolute treasure for the entire St. Francis College family, and the Graditude Scholarship is a 'thank you' for all they do for our communities," said Thomas Flood, SFC Vice President for Advancement. "It's our honor to give back to our alumni by opening doors to more education, which is so critical to personal and professional success. We're always thrilled to see our alumni Terriers back in our classrooms."

Anyone who earned an associate's, bachelor's or master's from St. Francis College from 2014 to present, is in good standing with the College and is active in the SFC alumni community is eligible for the Scholarship. It reduces the per-credit cost for courses by 30 percent, bringing it down from $650 to $450. Scholarship recipients will not be charged at all for the final course needed to fulfill their degree requirements.

A full-time semester course load is typically 12 to 18 credits. Students typically complete around 35 credits to fulfill SFC's graduate degree requirements.
