Ribbon-Cutting Held for New TV Studio; Ceremony Preceded by Inaugural “First Take” Media Talk
The April 17 ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new television studio, which is equipped with the latest industry-standard software and hardware, was preceded by the inaugural First Take Talk, featuring Mitch Jacobson, the studio's designer and an SFC Franciscan Fellow.

Inaugural Art Exhibition at SFC’s New Campus Opens to the Public
On April 11, the SFC Art Gallery hosted a reception to mark the opening of “Dare, Denounce and Draw,” the first-ever art exhibition at St. Francis College’s new home, in Downtown Brooklyn. The exhibition features the work of Pedro X. Molina, an internationally recognized political cartoonist as well as the College’s current Franciscan Service Fellow in Human Rights.

Mark Chiusano, who obtained an M.F.A. in fiction writing from St. Francis College in 2022, has signed a contract with One Signal, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, to write "The Fabulist: How George Santos Conned the World."

On February 4, the STEM Resource Center at St. Francis College hosted its first annual “What Can You Be with Your Science Degree?” conference. The goal of the daylong event was to introduce first- and second-year college students to various science-related career pathways as well as the necessary skills and resources to be successful in such careers.
