2012 President's Club Dinner
St. Francis College President Brendan J. Dugan ’68 welcomed some of the college’s most generous supporters to the President’s Club Dinner at Liberty Warehouse on October 16 to celebrate the school’s recent achievements and outline some of the plans for the future.
The audience was particularly pleased to hear President Dugan’s report on the College including news that the current freshman class is the largest in school history and that U.S.News & World Report continues to rank St. Francis as a Top Regional College.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees John F. Tully ’67 followed by thanking everyone in the room whose support makes the college’s recent successes possible. He then introduced a young woman who is currently benefiting from their generosity, scholarship recipient Nikol Santana ’14.
Santana expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the scholarship she receives explaining how the financial support allow her and her sister Nathalia ’15 to fund their education themselves and not burden their mother. After concluding her speech, Thomas Flood, Vice President for Development, surprised Nikol by introducing her to her benefactors Frank ’67 and Mary Cannistra.
The Annual President’s Club Dinner helps thank donors who give $2,500 or more each year. The dinner gives supporters the opportunity to meet current students and hear about the college’s accomplishments and goals.
