On November 13, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the college attended the 2019 Alumni Reunion Celebration at The Water Club in Manhattan, to celebrate our Women's Leadership Network Executive board, (Judy Rice '79 Liz Mindlin '81, Dyanne Rosado '95, Josephine Leone '81, and Saundra Thomas Hons '10) and retired Professor, Dr. Frank Sorrentino.

Guests mingled and shared stories of their time at SFC and the impact that the college and this year's honorees had on each of them.

Robert Oliva '04, Director of Recruitment, said it best about Dr. Sorrentino:

"You see, the impact that Dr. Sorrentino had on my academic career at SFC is not an anomaly. For 41 years, Dr. Sorrentino has taught, mentored, inspired, and motivated, hundreds of lawyers, judges, educators, high level policy makers, and successful business leaders. He has directly influenced the likes of SFC Trustee Hector Batista, CUNY's Chief Operating Officer; United States District Court Judge Margo Kitsy Brodie, City Councilmen Steven Matteo & Eric Ulrich, and former assemblyman Ron Castorina, to name a few. He has also been a trusted colleague to many SFC legendary faculty members that include the late Dr. Arthur Hughes, the late Dr. Nino Langiuilli, and professor emeritus and long-time chair of our Fine Arts Department, Dr. Frank Greene."
