SFC Ranked on New Money Magazine Best College's List
Forbes.com releases its new list of America's Top Colleges and for the seventh year in a row St. Francis College has been selected for the honor based on post-graduate success, student debt and student satisfaction.

In the very same week, Money Magazine, with a brand new ranking system that focuses on quality of education, affordability and outcomes for students placed St. Francis in the top fifth of all colleges nationwide. "Both of these magazines are measuring factors that we work hard to improve on every day for our students," said St. Francis College President Brendan J. Dugan '68. "We take pride in offering our students a well-rounded education, loaded with opportunities for great internships and real-world experience." |
President Dugan added that it's important to be recognized by financial magazines, "The success of our alumni shows the value of a St. Francis degree. Being recognized by Forbes and Money tells anyone considering a college education that money spent on our tuition is a wise investment."

For the Money Magazine list, St. Francis placed 269 out of 1,500 colleges, tied with the University of Rochester and ahead of Skidmore College. Forbes.com selected St. Francis 488 out of the 650 colleges it distinguishes for putting an emphasis on outcomes for students. "We're not all that interested in what gets a student into college... Our sights are set directly on ROI: What are students getting out of college?" writes Caroline Howard on Forbes.com. In addition to graduating almost 400 students this spring, St. Francis also celebrated its first class of Master's Degree recipients in the Graduate program for Applied Psychology. The new program complements the already successful Accounting Master's Degree Programs. Graduates in Accounting have had amazing placement rates at major accounting firms, which members of this year's class accepting positions at firms including Ernst & Young, KPMG, National Grid, and O'Connor Davies. |

In the fall, St. Francis is already finding great demand for a new Bachelor's of Science program in Nursing that prepares students to become a Registered Nurse. This program is an extension of a program that helps current RNs earn their Bachelor's Degree.
