St. Francis College proudly sponsored an Interfaith Panel Discussion on Mercy on October 5, 2016, featuring Ms. Imam Boukadoum (Director of Community Partnerships at the Interfaith Center of New York), Fr. Joel Warden, c.o., Ph.D. (Pastor of the Oratory Church of St. Boniface and Administrator of the Church of the Assumption in Brooklyn, New York), and Rabbi Joseph Potasnik (Executive Vice President of the New York Board of Rabbis).

The three religious leaders spoke about mercy as a virtue that is cherished by the religious traditions of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity.

Students also shared prayed from all three religions.

The panel was moderated by: Rev. Dr. Barbara Senecal-Davis, a Professor of Religious Studies at St. Francis and Executive Minister at First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich Village.
