Dear St. Francis College community,

These past months have been both incredibly trying and deeply inspiring. I remain humbled by and grateful for the kindness, resiliency and flexibility demonstrated by our students, faculty, and staff. We've been thrust into a learning and teaching environment that is brand new for many of us. I am proud of how the St. Francis College community endures.

Earlier this spring, I let you know that we would continue to evaluate and adjust, as necessary, our COVID-19 response plan based on guidance and recommendations from federal, state and local health authorities. College leadership has taken another step to in our efforts to safeguard the health of our community:

The College will continue to hold all classes remotely (online) through summer 2020. That includes all classes for May Intersession, as well as Summer Intersessions 1, 2 and 3. No events will take place on campus until further notice.

This was not an easy decision to make. I want nothing more than to return to the excitement and energy we all feel when our classrooms are in full swing at 180 Remsen Street. But there is simply nothing more important than our community's health and well-being, and doing what we can to assure the safety of our community is our top priority right now.

Other than our essential workers, all College employees will continue to work remotely until further notice. All our administrative offices remain open for business online and available for any help you need. Please reach out to them.
