Observing Yom Hashoah Through Words and Music

St. Francis College marked Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, on April 24, 2014 with a program of Poetry and Music.

The heart of the program included members of the St. Francis College community reading poems written by Jews who were imprisoned in concentration camps.

Bro. Owen Sadlier spoke about Don Aldo Brunacci, who saved hundreds of Jews in the city of Assisi, Italy by forging papers and hiding them in various monasteries and buildings throughout the city.
