A beautiful day on the links led to a record setting night at the 11th Annual St. Francis College Meadow Brook Golf Outing August 2, as supporters helped raise more than $250,000 through the sale of golf and clinic tickets as well as auction items, a beat-the-student golfer contest and putting contest.

“We raised more than twice as much money as last year,” said co-chair of the event Ed Travaglianti, President of TD Bank, Long Island and the founder and driving force behind the golf outing. “To have such a strong turnout in support of student scholarship funds shows the compassion and dedication of our St. Francis College alumni and friends. It puts an exclamation point on the Franciscan value of giving back which we stress to all our students.
