SFC Eliminates Health Screening and Temp Check on Campus

Thank you to the approximately 20% of our student body that has submitted the mandatory COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination form as of July 1.

Effective Tuesday, July 6, St. Francis College is eliminating the Health Screening Questionnaire and temperature check as conditions to come to campus.

While health screenings and temperature checks are no longer required for anyone on campus including employees and students please do not come to any SFC location if you're not feeling well. And continue to maintain regular handwashing and hygiene practices.

As a reminder: the College requires all students be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of accessing College buildings (including the residence hall) in the fall 2021 semester.

The deadline for SFC students to submit the COVID-19 Proof of Vaccination form is August 1, 2021.

Do not wait. Get vaccinated and upload proof of vaccination right away.

Your form must include documentation showing you received both shots of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or one shot of Johnson & Johnson (AstraZeneca is okay for SFC students from outside the United States).

It is more important than ever for the College to obtain accurate information about vaccination rates in order to make informed decisions about in-person campus activity and safety.

Continued progress in vaccinations will, we hope, provide us with greater confidence to start lifting some of our COVID-related restrictions on campus, such as social distancing and mask wearing in College buildings.

Do your part to get us there!

The vaccine is safe, effective and the single best way we can help end this pandemic. Vaccines are readily available throughout New York City and elsewhere, and you can get yours without an appointment.

Find a vaccine site near you at Vaccines.gov.

Submit your vaccination form right away if you haven't already and help provide the campus experience our students deserve this fall.
