A former Queens assistant district attorney now in private practice, Joe also guides The Graybeards, a 15 year-old non-profit organization that has dedicated itself to helping people in need. The organization is a grass-roots response to 9/11 and has distributed millions of dollars to families devastated by 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, and other everyday disasters. Joe will discuss how to start a non-profit 501-c-3 organization and how to create by-laws and a mission statement that focus the organizations' efforts and make meaningful contributions to the community.
