Dr. Shoppa’s teaching and research investigates the logic, meaning and value of existence. He teaches the history of philosophy, showing its enduring relevance for contemporary questions. Recent work is about the environment, social justice and the theology of grace and nature, and has been published in The Review of Metaphysics and elsewhere.
