Dr. Lucian Delescu studied philosophy in several European and American Universities. During the 2011-2010 academic year, Dr. Delescu was Visiting Fellow in Philosophy at Harvard University where he conducted research in phenomenology and intentionality. During the 2009-07 academic years, he was Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher in Philosophy at Fordham University where he did research on issues related to phenomenology. Dr. Delescu obtained a Doctorate in Philosophy in 2007 from the University of Strasbourg, France. Before getting his Doctorate, Dr. Delescu obtained three Master Diplomas, a Master in Sciences of Languages from EHESS of Paris, France in 2003, a Master in Philosophy from the University of Paris VIII, France in 2002, and a Master in Philosophy in 2001 from Babes-Bolyai University, Romania, where he also earned my Bachelor in Philosophy. Dr. Delescu's research is at intersection between phenomenology, philosophy of mind being interested in the nature of consciousness, cognition and intentionality. Since 2008, Dr. Delescu has taught a wide range of introductory, intermediate, and upper-level courses of philosophy for several colleges and universities in New York City.
