I am a retired Senior U.S. Probation Officer with the United States Probation Department for the Eastern District of New York. Throughout my career, I worked in both the Pre-Sentence and Post-Conviction Divisions, where I prepared sentencing recommendations, conducted criminal investigations, and supervised offenders through correctional treatment programs and sanctions. I also served as the District’s first Offender Workforce Development Specialist, where I developed and implemented AIM HIRE, an offender workforce development and re-entry program. Through AIM HIRE, I provided employment assistance, vocational training opportunities, educational guidance, and individualized case management services to help unemployed offenders successfully reintegrate into their communities.

As a former adjunct professor and current lecturer at St. Francis College, I teach courses in probation and parole, correctional institutions, the court system, and criminal justice. I bring my extensive experience in law enforcement and offender rehabilitation into both in-person and online classrooms, connecting theory with real-world practice. My goal is to inspire students as they prepare for careers in criminal justice while fostering critical thinking, professional development, and intellectual growth.
